Oh and did you hear?

I was so excited yesterday when I found the following news in the header of an email over at Small Mag :
H&M To Open in Texas!
H&M, Hennes & Mauritz, the design-driven clothing retailer known for high fashion style and quality basics at affordable prices, is proud to announce the opening of a new store location at NorthPark Center, the premiere shopping center in Dallas, in the second half of 2011. This will be the first H&M store to arrive in the Texas market!
Hooray!! Finally!! My 6 year old daughter is in heaven....
Oh and how wonderful to have this resource while pulling clothing for my Small fashion editorials!
LiaMolly

While I was in NYC attending FIT I was lucky to land an amazing shop girl gig at a store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I am going to date myself her by saying it was the first clothing shop in Billyburg. The owner was a woman named Seema, who designed and sewed most of the clothing in the shop. (sound familiar?) I worked a few hours a week in the shop and a few in her house cutting out her designs while she sewed them. As you can tell she was a great influence to me. I ended up owning the shop but that is a whole other story! Well, Seema is now the designer of a label called LiaMolly. I am totally obsessed with the children's line she creates for Anthropologie. How amazing are these designs?????

Just in! Love Mae wall stickers

LOVE MAE stickers are made of adhesive fabric. They are super easy to use, just peel from the sheet and stick on the wall! The stickers are perfect for children, as they are removable and completely reusable. They can be scrunched into a ball and will easily un-scrunch and re-apply to your wall, many times over. They are printed with 'eco' inks and are non-toxic. Can be applied to almost any surface, and will not damage your walls.
Mini Mae Wall Stickers $20
Small Wall Stickers $46

The weekend offers an easy oasis of crafting, community and imagination for kids and parents alike. We will be staying and crafting at The Ace Hotel. How cool! My girls our so excited!
